NEW!! The Oasis Crate Climb
Flying Fox
At 90 metres long and taking off 10 metres up, the flying fox will get the adrenalin pumping and give campers a chance to overcome their fear of heights. Being a harness and karabiner system, this flying fox is completely safe even when you let go, unlike the old days when you had to hang on for dear life!
Games Room
There is a games room located just off the dining room hall. It is equiped with 3 pool tables, a table tennis table and a foos ball table. This room is great for free time.
Conference Room
Our conference room is fully carpeted and is the ideal facility for a movie night or for presentations. It has a data projector, DVD and video player and can be hooked up to a laptop or computer. It also features 5.1 surround sound.
Archery
Students learn the basics of archery including techniques of safety, loading and firing of recurve bows. This activity takes place on the sports oval, well away from other activities.
Candle Making
Candle making is a craft activity that everyone can enjoy, regardless of age. Each camper will create their own unique candle that they will be able to take home as a memento of Oasis. Leaders will be instructed by Oasis staff on how to run this activity safely and correctly.
Eco-Centre

The Eco-Centre is an opportunity for campers to have a close up, hands-on encounter with various types of reptiles and amphibians. Oasis staff will present a talk aimed at the age group of the campers, after which they will have time for questions and discussion. This is a chance for students to increase their awareness of Australian animals and Australian environmental issues.
Enviro-Walk
Oasis has various walks through the bushland surrounding the campsite, which are aimed at developing the students’ awareness and observations of the natural environment. The walks are all within 300 metres of the campsite and the campers follow well-developed tracks under the supervision of Oasis staff. Campers will learn about native plants and get to taste some ‘bush-tucker’ along the way as well as experiencing the beauty of our Australian bush.
Basketball court and indoor Gymnasium
A carpeted 3/4 basketball court is available for a variety of activities. Great for when the weather prevents other outdoor activities.
Initiative Games
The initiative games are a series of challenging activities aimed at encouraging team building. As a group, the campers are presented with problems that require group communication and co-operation in order to successfully complete each activity.
Mountain Biking
Mountain biking can cater to anyone’s needs, from leisurely track rides to mountain biking excitement. There are several different bike tracks around Oasis that can be ridden - these tracks range in difficulty from ‘easy’ to ‘extreme’. Oasis staff will lead a ride for your campers depending on the ability of the riders however safety is always our first priority. Due to the size of our bikes, this activity is limited to year 7 age and up.
Ropes Course
Our low element ropes course challenges the campers’ balance, co-ordination, trust and energy levels. The campers move around the various elements in groups of three - one participant and two spotters. Each camper has turns at being the participant and then a spotter. Two leaders are required to supervise the activity.
Swimming Pool
We also have an outdoor swimming pool for those who like the opportunity to cool off in the water (warm weather activity only).
